Did both the Clinic and Queen Anne's Revene in two consecutive weeks. LOVED them both. Our host Coco was EXCELLENT and the themes were phenomenal for both game. Me and my girlfriend were amazed with how we really felt like we were in a Pirates setting and how the Clinic made use feel scared to move on after solving each puzzle. There was a real fear factor into it but in the end it was an enjoyable experience and I cannot wait until their new rooms open up. DEFINITELY will be back for every room they will open.
Maze Quests is amazing! We went here on Wednesday, October 26th to celebrate my birthday, and from start to finish Coco and her crew made everything extremely fun! It was my first escape room, but Coco and Devin were both awesome and helped us when we needed it! All of the staff here was so friendly!
This was my first time doing an escape room. I was always skeptical whether or not I'd actually have fun. Maze Quests was amazing! So creative and so much fun. I went with a friend and Coco was so nice and helpful. I'll definitely recommend them to people. Can't wait to go back when they make their 3 new mazes. Thanks Coco!
This was my first time doing a maze/puzzle room and it was such a great experience. I went with my girlfriend and was paired with 4 other people I never met, which went with the theme of the Queens Annes Revenge Maze as prisoners.
The maze itself was wonderfully built. It was visually impressive and if I had the time I would have just walked around slowly to appreciate the amount of skill and dedication used to make these Pirate rooms so creepy and authentic.
This was such a great experience! We went with a group of friends for an adult birthday party.
We can't wait to go again! Coco was Awesome!!!
My friends and I did the pirate maze and it was a fun challenged we conquered in 44 minutes. It was our first maze we have ever done and we all had a fun time laughing and getting eager to figure out everything needed for the next door to open. We are ready for another one!
We had SO much fun! My roommates and I went to Queen Anne's revenge last night and had a blast. We walked in and LOVED Coco and her son right away! She was so funny and helpful. They do give you a walkie talkie to talk to them just in case they saw us struggling. She gave us tips when we looked super confused.
This is not an escape room, but a series of rooms put together.
We can't wait to go back and see Coco again!
My husband and I went for his birthday this year and, him being a horror-genre fan, I bought us surprise tickets to Maze Quests the Clinic. BAD IDEA on my part. I had no idea he would get so scared but it was mostly my fault for not giving him a chance to get used to the idea and gear himself up! If you're a fan of horror, please give them a try. This is in no way a bad review. I laud this place on their professionalism and quality... original review
There are 4 of us, total escape room junkies!!! We literally NEED to do one at least once every 2 weeks. Maze Quests definitely made it to our top 3 favorite escape rooms in the area so trust us, you won't be disappointed. We had so much fun doing the Queen Anne's Revenge that we came back the next day for The Clinic. We'd have to say Queen Anne's is a bit more challenge than The Clinic. original review
Queen Anne's Revenge is one of the top escape games in the Los Angeles area! They do an amazing job with immersion and storytelling. The puzzles are clever and logical. I've played over 200 escape rooms and I highly recommend Queen Anne's Revenge.
The Queen Anne's revenge was a lot of fun!
Very atmospheric and just the right difficulty.
We did make it out in time and had quite some time left.
Overall the room is great though and full of great puzzles!
Maze Quests is in a more industrial area of LA but it's actually pretty easy to find because of the huge bright sign that is above the entrance. Parking is easy and I got there pretty easily.
I played the Clinic here and let me see that it felt like being in a scary movie. More Silent Hill than Resident Hill feeling. Lighting is dim and the little flashlight definitely made me feel like James Sunderland walking through a hell-warped hospital. original review
We came here for Queen Anne's Revenge and it was a GREAT time! We've done a few escape rooms around LA and are definitely addicted. I'd say Maze Quest is a great choice. Plus, there's parking right outside (and you can't say that about most places in DTLA)
I don't want to give anything away but the escape rooms are designed with so much detail, you're really immersed in the story. I'd say this is the most "all out" one I've seen for sure.
Went with a group of friends to do the Clinic maze. It was a really fun experience and a good chance for everyone to bond and have fun. We had such a blast seeing each others scared faces laughing, solving the puzzles, and trying to escape!
We were able to escape in time, but we wished it was longer! I would highly recommend this experience for anyone who wants to have a good time with friends and anyone who loves to solve mysteries. We will definately come back and cannot wait to try their new mazes!
Each escape maze is beautifully challenging, the atmosphere is completely on point. You forget that you're not just in an escape maze, especially when it comes to "Clinic". "Clinic" is believable to a degree that major theme parks (Universal) just fail to even reach. The production values are absolutely impeccable, "Clinic" wowed me, it absolutely wowed me with how seriously it is taken... original review
Everyone else has already described where to find this place. Surprisingly, it is right around the corner from another escape room (I recognized the intersection as soon as we got there). So, make sure you go straight on Oak, past Vertigo, under the freeway, and you'll see the big sign for MAZE QUESTS.
Coco is amazing. original review
About the location:
If you are going at night and you think you're lost, you're probably not. You should go past the Vertigo building and it should be at the very end of the street. It will have a big sign that says MAZE QUEST and it doesnt look like it but it IS the entrance.
About the game:
Since ive already been to a quite a few escape rooms, I had a good idea of what we were headed into...well, NOT AT ALL. original review
This was our groups 20 something escape room and no doubt it was the best we've experienced in La. The quality of the rooms are another level, the rooms are insanely immersive and incredibly built. Puzzles were a good combination of all types and it is truly an adventure that awaits you! original review
